Windows 11 gets update KB5044373, KB5044374, and build 27723 (preview)

Microsoft is now rolling out multiple previews of Windows 11 in the Beta, Dev, and Canary Channels with the release of build 22635.4367 (KB5044373), 26120.2122 (KB5044374), and 27723 with various improvements.
Windows 11 build 22635.4367 (Beta)
According to the official notes published on October 11, 2024, the Windows 11 build 22635.4367, available through the Beta Channel, introduces a new “Share with” option in the context menu to share content directly to apps and addresses issues for the Start menu, Live captions, and Taskbar.
The update KB5044373 is based on version 23H2 development.
If the “Share with” isn’t available on your installation, you can run the vivetool /enable /id:45286384,52800817
in Command Prompt with the ViveTool.
Windows 11 build 26120.2122 (Dev)
The Windows 11 build 26120.2122 in the Dev Channel introduces design and animation changes to the thumbnail preview when hovering over apps in the Taskbar.
Also, the Task Manager includes minor design changes for the “Disconnect” and “Logoff” dialogs. In addition, the “Performance” tab shows labels for the type of drive installed on your computer (for example, SATA and NVMe).
In addition, the update KB5044374 fixes problems with windowing and remote desktops. However, the company notes issues with the Start menu and Live captions.
The update KB5044374 is based on version 24H2 development.
Windows 11 build 27723 (Canary)
Finally, the Windows 11 build 27723 in the Canary Channel introduces a new “Share” option in the search result page to share content directly for this interface.
Voice Access offers several improvements to the spelling and corrections experience. You can now use the feature for the entire session, not just specific tasks. You can now dictate characters at a faster pace, and you have more control over your text with dictation commands like selection, deletion, and text navigation.
Also, a new simplified Chinese font, Simsun-ExtG, is available with this release that supports 9,753 ideographs, including the complex character for Biangbiang noodles.
Furthermore, on the “Disks & volumes” page, virtual drives now include the death option.
Microsoft also notes problems installing previews in the Canary Channel and issues with the Microsoft Solitaire & Casual Games.
The build 27723 is based on version “Dev” development.
Installation process
To download and install this Windows 11 build, enroll your device in the Beta, Dev, and Canary Channel through the “Windows Insider Program” settings from the “Update & Security” section. Once you enroll the computer in the program, you can download the build from the “Windows Update” settings by turning on the “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” option and clicking the “Check for Updates” button.
